2010 Most Innovative Blog – Tech Savvy Agent
So maybe the gatekeepers really are gone? Tech Savvy Agent was just named the most innovative blog in real estate for 2010 by Inman News. While all of the other blogs nominated are stellar (1000 Watt is my personal favorite), we were especially worried that with a company as large as Coldwell Banker on the ballot, we wouldn’t have a chance at the people’s choice award. Bottom line this is one for the little guys!
I want to accept this on behalf of our fans and followers who were able to mobilize quickly and help us take home the “hardware”. By keeping the focus on user generated content and genuine interaction we sure have found some passionate, tech savvy agents! They won this award for us and would never have done so if it wasn’t so obvious we truly love what we do each and every day. Thanks again to everyone who voted and who has helped us achieve this humbling honor…

Congrats guys!!! You deserve it!!
Chris I have to admit two things…one, I voted for tech savvy agent and two, I am a Coldwell Banker agent who did NOT vote for Coldwell’s bluematter blog and worried for your success in this competition when I saw that they too were included on the ballot! You said it..the difference is hard work and it shows! Tech Savvy agent is the best blog for RE/Technology information hands down and now you have the award to prove it!!
Congratulations!

[...] Favorites ShareLooks like we have hit the real estate awards season! First we win the Inman News most innovative blog of 2010 award and now another contest is upon us, but this time we want one of our fans to [...]
Julianne that means so much to us. Coldwell Banker has a great blog and is an awesome company but we are so much closer to our community through being present in social media like mad that are fans mobilized and felt we earned their vote!
Ken we never do it without Arranging Pixels, YOUR COMPANY made this happen as well!
Chris, it’s well-deserved to say the least. Since I found your blog, I can’t stop from coming back. Well done.
Chris, Congratulations! I did not doubt that you would win for a moment. I have recently participated in several of your webinars, I have enjoyed many of your blog posts and I have learned so much in a very short time. There is no doubt in my mind that Tech Savvy Agent should have won. I will add though that Jeremy Blanton should share in this award with you, because he has helped to support you from time to time along with a few others. Again, my best to you and the rest of the Tech Savvy Agent group. You all deserve this distinction!
Chris,
Is there a lead capture system yet for QR codes??? If so, who has it…if not WHY? Thaks
Buddy
Chris,
This may sound stupid, but i posted my first you tube video today but i am at a loss as to which category to use as they request a category, like “entertainment,” “sports,” etc. So what is the best category for posting a “home for sale” video?
Mark
I would do people and blogs.
I’m fairly techie, and would you believe? I just found your blog.
Question on the QR codes. If for example you had one on your car, how physically close to it does the mobile phone user need to get?
Thank you again, keep up the great work.
John
John,
Would all be based on the size of the QR Code. I have seen billboards that you could scan so make it as large as you are comfortable with.
Chris,
Awesome message…it really helped me define what I want to do. Would love to meet you someday! awesome stuff!
Aloha Chris, We have an ocean front office with a view of the Kailua Bay and Alii Dr. Something’s always “Happening” just outside our windows. We would like to provide a web cam for guests to visit Kona on our web site. What’s the best way to go?
