Not a iPhone user (I have a Blackberry BOLD) but I really like the look of the video done with the iPhone 4. It seems most of the shots we're filmed while standing still. Any idea on how good it is when you are walking and filming at the same time?

The Iphone 4 without a wide angle lens is much like the Zi8 or Flip without a wide angle lens.
However, adding a wide angle lens to the Iphone 4 improves important things like white balance, saturation levels, contrast ratios and aids in post production stabilization.

The simplest way to think of it is that with a wide angle the Iphone 4's camera is being sent more information so that the camera can make better choices for these important things I mentioned above.

However, this is all technical.....the most important thing about an Iphone 4 is that an agent can utilize a small simple to operate high def camera to shoot footage that can be used by a professional editor to produce a fantastic real estate video tour......capturing the footage really is the easy part as I will show.

In fact next week I will blog a "how to" video training that I gave to a new agent(Nichole) at her listing. After less than 3 minutes of training she went on to shoot footage that resulted in a tour every bit as good as a Pros.
Literally my total time in training her from the first time she touched the camera was less than 3 minutes! You will be amazed at her results.

The reason there are so many "bad" real estate video tours out there isn't filming. Most bad real estate videos are a result of bad editing!

A critical component of professional editing is "stabilizing" the footage to deliver a final tour that is "smooth" with a flow that keeps the buyer interested.

The Iphone 4 certainly is capable of capturing the high quality footage and that is great news for the tech savvy agent.
